5 Days / 4 Nights Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Merzouga Desert -Marrakech

We will depart from Marrakesh, crossing the High Atlas Mountains and the Tiz-in-Tichka pass (2260m), making several stops to enjoy the magnificent landscapes and rest. We will continue to Ouarzazate, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will continue the route to the village of Skoura, located in the heart of the valley of palm trees, an extensive and labyrinthine oasis, whose lush vegetation surrounds beautiful secret kasbahs, where you can visit. From here, we will continue through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley, where we will visit the Gorges of Dades, where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we will continue along the banks of Boulmane, where a road is drawn, lined with kasbahs (citadel) and ksour (fortresses or castles), whose landscape is ochre, red and mauve. Around us we can appreciate rocky plateaus where dromedaries graze. Then we will reach Tineghir, where the spectacular Gorges of Todra are located, perched at an altitude of 1350 m and surrounded by palm trees. We will continue to Erfoud, city of fossils and after passing through Rissani, we will reach Merzouga, in front of the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will then change the 4×4 for dromedaries that will take us into the desert, where we will enjoy a sunset between the dunes, until we reach the haimas camp. Always accompanied by Berber drums, songs and dances, we will have dinner and spend the night under the millions of stars that populate the desert sky.

In the morning, after a hot shower and a hearty breakfast, we'll set off on our way back to Marrakesh. We head towards Rissani, the first imperial city, with its interesting market, where nomads from the surrounding area come to sell and buy the goods they need. We will then take the road to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Here we will stop to admire the charming clay kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the route and the interesting geological formations of the Draa Valley. Arriving in Ouarzazate, it is possible to visit the cinematographic studios, where many famous Hollywood films were shot. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains again with their beautiful landscapes and arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.

The last day is reserved for visiting and getting to know Marrakesh with a local guide. The visit consists of the Menara Gardens, Gueliz, the modern part of Marrakech, the Koutoubia tower and Jmaa el Fnaa square, the Saadies tombs, the Bahia palace. The afternoon is free until transfer to the airport, depending on flight time.
